Ryan Halleran is a Wealth Advisor at GenSphere Private Wealth, where he collaborates with families, entrepreneurs and philanthropic organizations to design financial strategies that achieve their desired goals. Ryan specializes in simplifying the elaborate and helping his clients understand the complex nature that sometimes comes with success.
Ryan holds a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) as well as the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation. His knowledge and experience bridging the gap between the legal (estate planning), tax and investment worlds has allowed him to build a successful track record in navigating clients through the many walks of life, including retirement, business succession, generational wealth transfer and many other major life transitions. Ryan’s mission is to empower his clients’ decisions through education and understanding of the opportunities they have and guide them on their financial life’s journey along the way. With experience working with teams at Wells Fargo, UBS, DA Davidson and other smaller investment firms, Ryan brings a unique perspective to his client relationships and GenSphere Private Wealth, through his understanding of what clients are looking for from the firm and team they choose to partner with. Trust, knowledge and reliability are the cornerstone’s of Ryan’s approach.
Ryan grew up in Bellevue Washington, attending the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies and eventually attended the University of Idaho College of Law for his Juris Doctorate degree. There he met his wonderful wife Jenni, and together they relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to begin their lives together. While in Arizona, Ryan served two elected terms on the Anthem Arizona Community Council, further taking on the role of President of the Anthem Community Council in 2016. Ryan also served as the President of the Anthem Rotary Club in 2016 and founded the Anthem Young Professionals organization, a 501(c)(3) affiliate of the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce.
Family has become a defining aspect of Ryan’s success story. After their first daughter Harper was born, Ryan and Jenni felt the pull of the Pacific Northwest and moved back to Washington, settling down in a cozy corner of Sammamish. Ryan’s youngest daughter, Georgia, was born shortly thereafter and they have continued to flourish and grow with the love and support of family and friends. Between Georgia’s artistic prowess and Harper’s dance and softball enthusiasm, the family has more than enough activities to keep them busy in their downtime.
Ryan is, and always will be, an avid supporter of the University of Washington. As a fourth generation graduate from UW, as well as a former member of the U-DUB Men’s Water Polo Team, Ryan is a big supporter of the school and collegiate sports programs surrounding it. When not coaching/supporting his daughter’s activities, Ryan also finds time to golf, play pickle ball, or simply relax in the quiet town of Seabrook where he and the family spend time together.
