Patrick Fletcher is a Wealth Advisor at GenSphere Private Wealth, where he partners with business owners, families, and organizational leaders to design financial strategies that are both practical and deeply personal. He understands the complexity that comes with success, especially during major life transitions, and brings clarity, structure, and confidence to every stage of planning.

Patrick holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), and Impact Philanthropy Advisor (IPA) designations. His experience spans retirement and legacy planning, cash flow analysis, tax-mitigation strategies, and values-driven philanthropy. He takes a comprehensive view of each client’s financial landscape, collaborating closely with tax and estate planning professionals to ensure every piece fits together seamlessly. His mission is to guide families through life’s transitions with confidence and create legacies that endure—not just in wealth, but in values, shared stories, and purpose.

Patrick has a unique role in bridging generations within families. Patrick offers an approachable outlet for rising generations to ask questions and seek guidance as they navigate new experiences and or begin their journey in the real world. At the same time, his technical depth and strategic perspective allow him to work seamlessly with senior family members and their advisors to design plans that set the next generation up for long-term success. He facilitates conversations that connect parents, grandparents, and rising-generation family members around shared values and financial responsibility. These discussions address topics around wealth that society has made taboo—topics that, when left unspoken, can lead to unintended consequences such as imbalanced expectations or implied responsibilities. Patrick works to break down those barriers while preserving privacy and trust, creating a safe and open space for dialogue and equipping families with tools to continue these conversations consistently over time.

Clients appreciate Patrick for his thoughtful communication, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to service. Whether guiding a business owner through succession planning, helping a family define its philanthropic vision, or mentoring the next generation, Patrick strives to be a trusted partner at every stage of life.

Patrick grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington, where he spent much of his time outdoors, especially on the water boating, sailing, fishing, and wake surfing. Those activities remain a big part of his life today, along with skiing, hiking, biking, golf, and his latest passion—tennis (when pickleballers let him on the court).

Travel has always been a defining part of Patrick’s life. His most recent adventure taking him to remote islands in the Philippines for spearfishing. Next on his list is Japan, where he plans to immerse himself in its history, culture, and cuisine. A self-proclaimed foodie, Patrick enjoys discovering new restaurants and experimenting in the kitchen at home.

Family is a priority for Patrick, and he enjoys spending time with his parents, Shirlene and Tom, and his sister, Ally. He values the opportunity to build something meaningful with his father at GenSphere and is grateful that his dad redefined what retirement looks like. After earning his degree in Finance and Information Systems (with a minor in Mathematics) from the University of Washington, Patrick stayed in Seattle and now calls Ballard home—still just a short drive from Gig Harbor. He is a proud Washington Huskies and Mariners fan, and when he is not working or traveling, you will likely find him outdoors, on the water, or planning his next adventure.
